350 holleys go great on geminis. Im running one on a TG sedan at the moment, that has a 2litre bottom end with a standard 1600 head and a 415" lift cam. It is only just worked enough to run that size carby, so if yours is worked less, it probably wont work. They generally give a similar throttle respons to the 32/36 webber, but flow a lot more air up top, and go a hell of a lot better. Also they sound a hell of a lot more throaty out the exhaust.
Easiest way to mount one is buy a redline adaptor plate that mounts a 350 holley to a sigma. Sounds stupid, but sigmas run the same nikki carby as a gemini, so the adaptor plate fits , and they dont list one to suit a gemini. Yout then have to buy a 1 inch raiser plate so that the accelerator pump on the carby clears the thermostat housing.
Both adaptor plates will set you back $30 each. The only drama ive found, is that the early models tx -td run a longer accelerator cable than the te -tg models. You will need to buy one of the longer throttle cables from a wrecker etc, if your is a later model, other wise the cable doesnt reach the throttle shaft.
