i have just taken the oil sump off my auto transmission to replace the gasket. Now in the gregogys it says to fill the transmission with 6 litres of trans fluid. just seems like a lot of oil for a transmission to me. Am i missing something? did i drain all the oil by taking off the sump? or is there more oil hidin in places that i havent accessed?
cheers

Exactly, the gearbox holds a stack but the torque converter is full of it too so there's a fair bit in total |
