hey guys i live in adelaide and i want to put in a 2 litre twin cam in my gem. im wondering do i have to go through regency for changing my car to efi.
also where would the best place be to go for another engine.

In answer to your question, yes you have to go through regency. The only major thing you need to do to get through is get some upgraded front brakes (vented discs). Smaller things you might need to do is fit a fuel neck in your fuel filler (easy) and add an airbox (rip one off a camira or something).
It's not hard to get through, there are a lot of DOHC gems on the roads in SA.
In fact Steve Smith of Just gemini spares (82587722) is a top bloke and knows a lot about twincams. I've spoken with him about it before and he says its pretty piss easy to pass through regency. Its been done a lot before so its not a major task.
