can someone explain to me the difference in size and how this effects power. obviously a bigger turbo would be able to produce more power, but what is meant by t4, t35 etc |

i'm not an expert by any means, but from what i've gathered:
the bigger the turbo the bigger the volume of air/air and fuel it can feed the motor. ie ability to produce more power
Also, the bigger the turbo, the more airflow it needs from the exhaust to spool up.
T4 etc is a model code given to each turbo. the "t" (i think) denotes a design and a number denoted the size. the bigger the number the bigger the internals. |

so it is just basically a product name and has no real baring on the actual size? ie my train of thought was that maybe a t4 was like.4 mm and a t35 was .35 mm etc or sumfin along those lines.
thanx |
