anyone turboed one of these engines in a gemmy before
i have one but it needs a rebuild first.
i am looking at around 230 - 250 kw at the rears
will the stock rods handle this sort of power?
what about the pistons ???
has anyone got a story to tell ? |

I'm assuming you've never heard of the name Matty Spry. |

you wont get 250kw out of a standard motor. rods should be able to take that sort of power. i would up grade the pistons to forgies. the weakest part of the engine is the head, valves stick and they tend to crack when they are boosted.
have fun, thats all i can say. |

a guy i know said he puts a bit of oil in each tank of fuel to stop them sticking, but its sounds bodgy. im not game enough to try it, to much money wrapped up in the fuel system incase it fucks something |
