on cold days or nights my car does not run right. It runs fine for the first 5 minutes or so and then will not run right. It sounds like it misses at low revs and then when you put your foot down a little bit the car will die. Other times itl run fine when it is under load but will miss and not idle. It also backfires a great deal down hills etc. Then if the next day is warm itl run fine. Any ideas what could be wrong. |

Sounds like ur engine has had it, that or ur carbie is stuffed, or both. Time to look into a replacement or rebuild i reckon.

I'd check if theres moisture getting into the distributor. Water could be condensing inside causing it to mis when its cold weather (moisture = cold weather, which would explain why you dont get it when the weathers hot)
