I see what u are saying, and ive printed it off to get started and put the car over the pit,(just rememer folks call me a ricer i dont care but it was bugging wether i could get this theory to work i mean hey u hear it's meant to work so much from other car owners) but i gotta question, wouldnt the fuel just damp the spark plug if u have it squirting directly before the spark plug, u would think it would just stop it sparking??? And would a spark be enough to ignite the flame?? i also saw a guy advertising in the trader that he can rig up a setup for customers that shoot flames at the push of a button and i quote"just like in the movies or like in grease the movie" has neone heard of his "system" as i would be interested in using his "theory", ok im gunna put the car over the pit will keep people posted on my progress.
Cheers all

that's why you invest in a cheap one-way valve as i suggested. it stops anything going back up the pipe. |

ahhh the good ol keybanger. in 'Just cars" magazine, they advertise flame thrower kits "as seen in 2 fast too furious" dunno bout how much they are, in maxpower magazine, they tried ur theory, and it worked, but the car has to run super rich. |

Done this to a few cars over the years It actually involves quite a bit of wiring if done corectly run through relays and so on. However What needs to be done is rather than just creating a spark you need to redirect the spark from the distributor to the coil/plug in the back. So rather than just sparking once it sends all the pulses from all 4 cylinders to the one plug making it a pretty much constant spark. Doing this also cuts off the spark at the motor meaning none of the fuel gets burnt and flows straight out of the exhaust to be burnt. This means you can't excellerate whilst doing it but is good fun cruising along at 60KPH and watching some peoples faces. I wouldn't do this with out expecting to blow up a muffler or 2 at some point from excess fuel build up and one day they just go bang. |

You need two things, one is a constant spark. Simply pressing a button will give you a spark, and thats it. You need a zapping continuous spark, so you need a mechanism that constantly turns the coil on and off.
You also need fuel in the exhaust gas. Now unless you are running pretty rich, or can supply extra fuel to the exhaust pipe, then there will not be enough to ignite.

Say Setaline again ... no really, just one more time.
And for anyone aspiring to be a street performer, don't try and breathe fire with anything that can ignite from a single spark.

'capacitator set that you can install too that will make the spark plug spark slighty (but enough) anywhere from every few milliseconds to one or two second intervals.'
single spark? try constant spark buddy |
