Pervert backyard mechanic

Anyone got any ideas on how i can cut a small hole on either side of the front quater panels for the VT indicators? I tried drillin heaps of holes and filing it out, but that seemed to take foreva and it still doesn't fit properly. I'd like to do this b4 it gets sprayed as i dont wanna reck my pain job.

use ya dril thing to get it close then a file to finish it of _________________
