hey kernel
heads are (in my opinion) easy to get, fitting will take time for th inexperienced but still relatively simple.
as far as the transplant of a g180 goes, have you tried a search of this forum?? it is the same at fitting a g161.
cheers,

about the big valve head... fuckin hard to find
you'd be better off getting some oversized stainless steel valves and getting the valve seats ground out and doing it that way. |

avalibility on the big valve head also depends on where you are from, when i was rebuilding gemispares found a big valve head and had it all machined and ready to go within 2 days. _________________

It's pure luck. Took me three months to find a head. Even wrang most major wreckers in Melbourne. Then one day i wrang a little crappy wrecker down at wingfield and they had one just come in off a car. Luck.
Depends what's being wrecked at the time and if anyone is building hot gemi motors etc etc.
Cheers
