hi everyone. I am new to here and new to Geminis.
I have found that gemini is a great car, and cheap for its age and 'mod-ability'. ;p and the best thing is, it's a RWD!
I would like to buy one, before that I want to know this car more. generally I am looking for a 1980+ RWD gemini.
What model should I look at?
How many variant is there? Engine capacity? power?
What's the weight of this car?
Are they all four doors?
Which model does most of the ppl want?
What good engines will fit in it? will they drop straight in? How much they normally go for?
what brakes they come with? what's the best mod to increase the brake power? and how much?
is there any particularly rust spot i should be looking at?
These are the questions I can think of now.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jin.

don't worry about him
um, as far as whats a good gem, any gems a good gem. maybe except the RB, the FWD ones..... to each their own
most are 4 doors except a few of the early ones, but they are mostly pre 1980's anyway. u might like the earlier ones tho. have a look at the gallery and go from there.
VL commodore brakes are a popular mod in place of the rear drums. also, G180 and G200 engines, out of rodeo's and jackaroos from the 80's are direct bolt in's, pull pretty decent compared o the stocko, and can be EFI'd and turboed.
do what u want with the gem, be original
hope this helped a little

yeh, I think a tg is good, especially a panelvan(then I can park in the loading zone in the city! ;p )...
tg and tf are around 82-85. so it's pretty new.
tx is just too old for me i think. |

yeh, planning to sell the sprinter.
the one I put on toymods is from my friend, and it's sold.
my one has a 20v conversion. just feel that sprinter are very over priced. and I ran out of budget. |

sprinters are like 83-85 in australia.
a stock sprinter has a 50kw motor. so it's nothing special.
I wanna sell my becoz i have ran out of budget.
I am not sure of the price at the moment. around 8k, it has got a 20v 4AGE conversion. |
