What turbo do I use?

As above, I can get about anything i want coz dads mate works at the jap imports but what should I run people? I got a G180 block that has just about done 800km's and thats all balanced and got bored out 60 thou with resized rods ect ect. I got the big valve head but what EFI manafold should I get? Piazza or rodeo? and what sort of turbo should I be asking for? I dont want anything massive. It is a street car afterall. Any suggestions?

use a rb25 turbo and rodeo injection go to a comercial wreckers i found it was easyer to find
but if you want to go nuts get a ct26 off a 7mgte motor trust me after a while you will want to

u say u have a big valve head?? isnt that of a 1600?? if i were u i would get a 2L head for it if u are turboing

Yeah bud,
Either a T28 off a s15 SR20DET or a T25 off a S13 CA18DET. Im getting a T03 off a VG30DET for my G180w!!

that didnt realy explain anything. have u seen the difference in them 2? the "T25 off a S13 CA18DET " is so tiny i wouldnt even use it on my mower, where as the T28 off a s15 SR20DET is "average size" to most street turbos but WAY more power output. those 2 turbos are at compleat opposite ends of the scale

So what one? I have a G180 head so that'll do. the block is getting o-ringed anyway so i'll change to the low compression head.

there ball bearing, about $600 2nd hand, but worht it

id rather go the T3,

get more of a push from these,

plus ive seen VL's with the Turbo's gettin to low 12's

vl and a g180 are a bit different though. a ball bearing t28 would be on boost at very low revs. t03 would be more laggy. my mate's pulsar gtir is getting built to run a low -flat 11 second pass with a ball bearing t28.

Well sorry Gene, I just thought that the t25 would be suited to the G180 cos of its small size = boost earlier. Ive seen these bloody turbos pump out 250kw at the wheels!!!

i never said he couldnt do it. but u recommended he use the 13 t25 or the s15 t28. as if they were similare

Or if you could get one of a pair of RB26 turbos. They are T28's and make good power. Or even one of an RB25.
