Hi guys
I'm back and my car is now running a 1600 because i have hit a few problems with the steam converion. I never knew there could be such a shortage of steam engine parts in Australia i now have to have special parts sent over from Germany.
As soon as i take shipment of the parts it will be all systems go. I anticipate that the car be ready by around christmas time.

Is it a panelvan or are you going to tow a trailer for the coal?
P/van would be better cause you could shovel the coal while you were going along... |

Most deisels can run on canola oil Gene, all they need to do is add some sulphur to it and the combustion characteristics are very similar. In Saudi Arabia or maybe Pakistan the taxis run on this Canola/sulphur mixture.
So it's not as stupid as it sounds
