Hi, as the subject line suggests, my G161 is totally gutless. Going up even a slight hill makes it die in the arse and it won't even spin the wheels in the wet, no torque at all. I have replaced the points, rotor button, dizzy cap, leads and plugs. I have the timing set at 6 degrees.
Does anyone have any suggestions? |

Set the timing at 10 degrees.
If you are feeling adventurous, bolt on a bigger carby, like a weber. Fit a set of extractors, take the head off, get it shaved a couple of mm to increase compression. |
