Unusual as majority of Big Blocks have at least 2 inch primary headers,
and like three inch exhausts with at least four mufflers, and resonators at the end,
but interestin enough in a Bongo and mid mounted, must have like 10 mufflers and a one inch exhaust,
But then why is it mostly all outlaw drag cars have superchargers then, if not N/A all day?? |

There's a VW Kombi - the 1980's style one which is squarer than the oldies, but still has a rear engine - going around Adelaide with a WRX engine in it.
My mate learned that the hard way. He had a nice, black TD Gemini panelvan 1600 turbo which lost in a traffic-light drag with this Kombi. Gobsmacked, he had to pull the guy over for a chat!
On Sigmas, in about 1998 there was one in Street Machine with a 351ci Ford V8. It was killer (even though I'm a Holden man). Outside, it had original paint, original wheelcovers and the original dealer sticker on the rear window. It also had the original radio inside and the big auto was all hooked up to run through the stock shifter. THAT was a helluva sleeper!
I'd get another Isuzu Bellett, get an Isuzu DOHC engine (they fit the easiest - I know there are other, newer better engines these days) and I'd turbo it up and drag people off. How about the plate WOT-THE
