Not until it tears the side out of the tire thru the esses at 155km/h!!
Then you may have a problem! _________________ I try to tackle one day at a time, but often several days attack me at once.

Yup Bob... U hit the nail on the head.
BMW offset is ideal for the wildest Gemini configurations. _________________ I try to tackle one day at a time, but often several days attack me at once.

I have a big concern regarding people suggesting putting SAAB rims on their Geminis. THE STUD PATTERN IS NOT THE SAME! No SAAB ever had a 4 x 100mm PCD.
I've worked in the trailer/caravan industry off and on for the past 10 years and currently for a company that manufactures axles, so I have the most up-to-date listings of stud patterns for all popular vehicles.
SAAB's either had 5 x 110mm, 4 x 114.3mm, or 4 x 108mm. If this last one is what people are putting on their cars, then you are putting your own and other peoples lives at risk, because to tighten the wheel nuts properly, you have to stretch/bend the studs. This will lead to failure of the studs, and the wheel/s parting company with the car. |
