hey guys, ive found a bit of rust in the floor of my gem, around the back right seat bolt mount. it looks as though the seat itself has been reefed around and torn the metal in the floor, and now theres rust all around it. after having a crack at it with the mig and a replacement piece, will i have to get it checked/engineered seeing as it has to do with the seat mount? also, would it be better the cut the same piece of metal out of another gem? or make an entirely new piece, and if so what thickness? sorry for the long post.
cheers,

but do you have to get it checked out seeing as it holds the seat in place? |
