if i used real light sticks to weld in say 2 or 3 mm steel, would they eat through it still, or would it be best to find someone with a mig?
also once welded in, what preparation do i have to do before applying body deadener?
cheers, |

we welded in a complete new wagon floor for my project with a stick welder we found it easier than the mig u just have to be quick and not blow holes through the floor.
the finish was a lot stronger and neater i think |

Just overlap your floor pans about 20 mm and weld on both sides. that'd nearly be just as strong as original depending on how good u are at welding. I TIG everything on my car so it's not a problem for me =) |
