i'm pretty sure the xf falcon came out with a 34 adm weber (someone correct me if i'm wrong and if you can be bothered), not sure bout the other models but i'm assuming they have pretty much the same carby. Yes this carby will bolt onto your 1600, but no this isn't a straight bolt on. you will need to purchase an adaptor plate, and then it will bolt straight on. you may have to stuff around with the accelerator cable bracket. this carby seems like it might be a bit big for your 1600, most people lean towards the 32/36 weber for the 1600 and 34 adm for the 1800, also have you modified your engine in any other way? if not i would look into things like, extractors, exhaust and cam. get the weber last, as to get the thing to run properly (and efficiently) you will need to get it dynoed.
hope this helps
cheers wanker/moron
