Hey peeps, i might have found my new car!
TD Sedan, G180, 2 litre escort carby, king springs, 170000ks 5 speed. Little bit of rust coming through in doors (easily repaired), brake booster, tan interior no rego, $1300.
I am going to take a look at it on sunday, any suggestions or opinions? Does anyone know where i should look for faults? I am taking a mate whos an apprentice mechanic at holden so he can help a bit. Rebuild time i think. If anyone wants to have a look i can give you the link.

BTW - it's yellow and i don't like it lol. Anyone know any decent spray painters in brissy that won't charge the earth for a decent respray? Thanks guys (and gals)

Check footwells for rust, and the bootfloor and around the bottom of the window seals at the back for rust. I had rust in the doors of my gemini so i ended up just replacing them with bog free rust free doors. the doors are only $100 thereabouts. Also check for rust on the chassis rails. I suggest taking it for a roadworthy inspection as there might be a few things that you are unaware of that may set you back more money than you first though. sounds like a pretty good deal otherwise though.
