Anyone ever had any problem with gemini engines "running on" or pre igniting after you turn them off? i have a 32/36 weber? does the engine running rich cause this. and it doesnt idle too high either i duno about the timing i think it's ok, about 12degrees |

Running rich is one cause. There are a few others but cant remember them. |

You may have already found your problem, if you dont know what advance you're running then grab a timing light and find out for sure.
Common causes are too much advance, bad/poor fuel quality and overall bad tuning. Get a set of new plugs, re-adjust the timing back to approx 8-9 deg BTDC, wind the mixture screw in a little if you think it's running rich, then wind the idle screw in a little to raise the idle to approx 750rpm.
Without a little more info on you're set-up it's hard to determine what it could be, but generally the same principles apply to all engines.

I wacked the snapon timing light on it
I got 12 degrees at idle and 38 degrees at 5000rpm |
