G160 and G161 power figures

i was reading in the R&D section and seen that a G160 makes 63KW and the G161 makes 49KW whats the diff between the 2 is it the head or pollution shit that gives the G161 less KW help me out

I'm guessin dat it was bigger valves, higher copresion, no polution crap, ummmmm, da early tx had a diff exhorst manifold i think. maybe u could squeeze out da extra 10 odd kw from dat shit.

Well Drifta is right, all that shit does it, but there isnt a G160 and G161. They are all G161Z just with different builds.

potentially a stupid question, but what sort of difference that that make performance wise, between the 64(?)kw tx and the later models? dont shoot me down, im still learning

G160 = Non x Flow, pushrod 1.6 found in bellets.
G161z = SOHC X Flow, Gemini.

The power differences come from the heads. Big noticable difference in driving the 63kw engine as compared to the 50 (in the geminis ive driven anyway.)
