yo i have a turbo setup for a gemini i have a holly 350 carbie holly blue fuel pump turbo exhaust recalibrated dizzy decompression plate will the fairly stock 1600 motor handle the turbo?

yeah i already know that it will run about 11 psi but i think everyday driving run it on 7 or so

i heard a stock gemini engine shouldnt be run on more than 6psi
this is stock mind you
put a decomp plate or do some head work or put a bigger heaad on you could run more from what ive heard

i have a decomp plate but this guy a pro automotive told me id blow the thing up it's just been reco'd and shit so ill put it all together and see what happens!!!

Remember though any engine can take huge amounts of boost, say 20psi, even stock. It all depends on the size of the turbo. A little turbo at 20psi may only push in as much air as a big muther turbo that is running at 6psi. The damage from high boost occurs due to the amount of extra air, and its resulting consequences.

it all comes down to how well the car is tuned. the better its tuned, the more boost u can run.

even though they are engerneered cops are gonna pull you over and go sunny those wheels are to big you whip out the certificate they will get you for every thing else

so its a loose losse situwation unless you live in adelaide we get away with a fair bit like ive never been defected
