Im sick of problems. My noise is intermitant, and then when its warm it goes away, either that or its so low we dont notice it. I swear its coming from the turbo, but it appears to be working fine. It almost sounds like a gearbox input bearing noise and sort of happens like when you put your foot on and off the clutch. Thats what it sort of sounds like but its not that, its coming from the turbo!!! AAARRRGGGHHH!!!
Another day another headache.
My bitch for this arvo. |

It was built, but more than 3 years ago now...DOH.
But its not the engine really making the noise, it sounds good. Its the turbo, or something directly involved with it. I guess I'lll just let it make the noise and if the turbo lets go I'll get a new one. |

Checked the gasket between the turbo and the turbo manifold? A friends vlt had a fucked gasket and was making all sorts of weird noises - at once stage it sounded like a chick screaming when you came on boost lol. might be worth checking out.

try this dunno if it would work with all the other noises in the engine bay but tape a sound recorder near the turbo and go for a quck drive and then place in other parts of the engine bay you may be able to track it down |
