Does anyone where abouts the engine number on the G200 are? I've bought a 2L and the guy who i bought if from said that he couldn't find it either. If i can't find it i'm taking the engine back! |

Fucked if I know, always assumed they would be on the top of the block on the inlet side near the timing case, same as a G161, if it isn't there is two possibilities, one, it is somewhere else... yeah, I know you know that.
Or
The engine has a block purchased new from the factory and never put into an australian registered car, meaning no engine number, what you have to do in this case is approach your local department of transport and they will tell you the procedure for having an engine number assigned, quite involved but thouroughly possible. |
