How to get that resin shit off under the side...

I ran out of room in the topic. I need to know the best stuff to get that resin shit off that sticks the side bumper things on. It could be a problem getting off now because i stripped the bumper things off a while ago and it's probably gone all crusty in the sun. Someone said prepsol, or somthing like that i can't remember, but it started with a P. Cheers. Also fingernails won't get that shit off. What should i use without scratching the car of taking chips out?

is it that shit stuff under the dumper on the TE's looks like stone guard/ body detner stuff?

if it is, they put it there from factory. i put tg bumpers on and it hides it nicely. i started scrapping it off with a plastic knife and lathered it with polish as i was doing it (acts like lube)
