Flushing radiator without removing anything

Just remember this while reading the cooling post.

Buy a 4 litre premixed container of coolant from supercheap, or whatever, that costs like $4.00. Then finish yourself a 2L bottle of coke and drink it. F
Fill your coke bottle with the coolant, and remove your radiator cap. Start your car, and as soon as its going, tip the full coke bottle upside down and stick it in the radiator. It should be just the right size for no water to overflow, maybe with a bit of splashing though.
Now let the car idle and warm up, and slowly the water will circulate the around the engine and radiator, and most of the sluge and crap will be flushed out, and "magically" make it way up and into the radiator. After the first time there should be a fair bit of shit in there.
Empty it and do it again.
You can just use water, but then you will need to re add coolant anyway, and the coolant works slighly better than water as it is a bit more dense.
And you dont even have to remove the radiator.

do you mean leave the bottle in there so there is coolant in the bottle and the crud floats up into the bottle???

how will this flush it out more than just running the car when you put more collant in

Yes leave it in there upside down.
Well when it is running the water and crud just keeps moving around and this allows it to escape to the top and be removed.

it is an ok way of maintaining your coolant but it realy isnt that dificult to simply pull of a hose and stick your garden hose in it and let it flush that way. make sure the water is flowing the opposite way to how it would to when the engine is running. easy as pissing against a wall.

Yeah apparently piising agianst a wall aint that easy for some people.

Anyway, how do you make a hose push water the opposite direction? You cant make it push past the pump, so then when the water level on the inlet side gets to low, and the engine hot, if the water starts to boil, and it will cause a bit of a vacuum has occured, the pump could start to cavitate. And that aint good.
With the way I said, you can see what was in there, and you can do it in a place where you dont want to get water/coolant everywhere.

Are fair enough. Well this way, you dont waste water, you do the whole system, engine, heater, radiator, and you dont have to do it in a placee that needs drainage. Most of the crap from the engine and heater etc. sits in the top tank of the radiator, so it can be hard to force it all out the bottom. This creates a bit of vacuum so that anthing sitting in the top, and the other stuff which circulates and ends up on the top, get sucked into the bottle.

very minimal compared to a hose. maybe 250ml at most, its easy if you put your hand over it and flip it quickly.
