Good luck mate. The walls will be far too thin. Your better off buying a g180 or a g200 and putting a g160 head on it.

yes. i agree with that gemin_eye dude. it was an error even thinking about it. theres a bloke in nsw that tried out that and the engineer said that he has no hesitation of doing it, but it doesnt come with a warranty. the engine revved out to 5500 rpm and the conrod gave the engine mount a nice slobbery kiss. you get my drift?
bottom line is - ur a dick if you do it!

If you aren't speaking from experience then shut it and don't talk about your dog's sister's aunty that did it once with the butchers brother.

You CAN bore and stoke G161 to approx 2ltrs, I have one in my shed that was built by SAMS performance in Sydney. I have no idea how hard it goes but should be able to let you know by Christmas. It has flat top pistons which have been fly-cut in order to run with a worked 1600 head that has been shaved to the max.
