you will find that you cant
the hub will have a ridge that prevents it and for is some reaon the bolts are long enough i wouldnt put them on as there would be to much strain and not enough thread
i remeber when i was 16 and got my first gemini and i wondered about this took a wheel off had a look and went errr no way

Changing the direction of a tyre is not a good idea at any rate. The internal wires in a radial tyre begin to take a particular form based on the direction of the rotation, when you reverse it - it tends to shit itself, ie blow out!
That's why a "tyre rotation" should only ever involve swapping back to front and vice versa. |

new look... buy a Gemini!
Wheels are NOT designed to be reversed. Just looking at them it should be obvious.
Note the wheel centre is formed with a raised ridge. This is used to locate the wheel on the axle correctly. The nuts and studs really just hold it squarely in place. The wheel has 'countersunk' points that the nuts locate into. It's NEARLY idiot proof!!
The rim may even foul on the disk brake calliper if you reverse it.
Save a few dollars and grab some wider rims. Not going to cost you a fortune on a HJ Holden! Weekend paper is likely to have some in the classifieds.
Even though Commodore rims use the same stud pattern, they are offset differently so be aware they are unlikely to fit. They probably won't even bolt down on the front as the brake calliper runs into them even before the wheel is flat on the hub. _________________ I try to tackle one day at a time, but often several days attack me at once.
