whats involved in replacing one of these??
is it just the tail shaft out of the gear box or do you have to take the diff apart as well?
as im going to look at a wagon but the tail shaft is stuffed |

You have to unbolt the tailshaft from the torque tube and then as the tube slides into the diff it just slides on out And you'll also have to undo the tube mounts aswell.. ** make sure not to replace a wagon one with a diff one because the mounts are different sizes... you dont want to have taken the whole thing apart to find its the wrong size haha...I know from experience lol!
Have fun, its not as hard as it sounds....couple hours an dur right

tail shaft out, 2 bolts holding the torque tube to the car and 4 alan keys holding the tube to the diff. muake sure u have soome bricks or somthing to prop the front of the dif cos once u tak eit of it will try to spin and face down and piss oil out everywhere _________________

can you do it with out loosing any oil ??
how much can you pic a decent one up for a wagon?
and how can you tell whats a good one???

yeah if u prob it just behind where the tube unbolts u wont lose any oil |
