G'day,
When I fit my twin cam, I have to get an EFI fuel pump, now, people use the VL ones, my question is, is it the VL Turbo fuel pump, VL n/a fuel pump, or are they the same thing?

Also, will I need a fuel pressure regulator for the N/A EFI DOHC? Or do I just run the line from the EFI fuel pump straight to the fuel rail?

Ok, since I'm gonna be N/A does I don't want a rising rate regulator do I, so I'm guessing there is a constant set regulator that isn't rising rate? If so, are they malpassi too, or are they something different? Also, how do I know where to set it?

Sorry if another stupid question, but I had a look under a camira and it looked like it had two fuel pumps? Why is this, what lines are they connected to, do I need both or just one? If just one, does it matter which one?

Im not actually sure what you need, I am still getting my head around EFI. It would be better for you to ask Gene or Ben Wight instead of me giving you the wrong answer.

Just use a camira one. The 2 VL pumps were different in the cars originally, but now they are listed to use the same thing in bosch catalogues.
The engine should already have a reg as they cant operate without one. They look sort of like a EGR valve or a little round thiong with a vacuum line off them, and they are on the return side of the fuel rail.
So the EFI pump does go straight to the rail, and then the reg is on the return line. If it turns out you dont have one just get a malpassi n/a reg which arent rising rate.
