ive been getting some slack/sarcasm in the oter rooms about fitting a lexus v8 in a tx gemini what motor would u guys reckon would be a good power upgrade for say 4500 to 5500 + whatever i can sell the lexus motor for ?????

dont let the slack get to u dude, if u wanna do it, do it. but its a lotta hassle to get a v8 in legally.

You have plenty of options with that much cash. CA18det, SR20det, FJ20det, Piazza turbo. They are the main engine conversions people do. Either taht, or put in a g180, g200, or a Rodeo 2.6, and do an EFI Turbo conversion on one of this engines, and they will, especially the 2.6, fuckin fly.

pfft, mate, who cares if its different, i dunno about where you are, but not too many people i have actually met and looked at their gem with one of those engines in it. But hey, its your money, they go bloody quick. Put a 4AGZE engine in, that will be a bitch and totally different, super charged 1.6 Toyota engine, they go fuckin quick i'll tell ya that much. Dunno about in a gem, but in a Sprinter that go wicked.

My mate is putting both, 4AGZE with turbo as well as s/c, gonna have it so it s/c goes to 3k rpm then turbo kicks in at 3k+

haha yeah u take it in the ass.
i can go for a 15 min drive down the road and get a lexus v8 with a 5 sped box for $1800, with start up warenty.
