when using the balst resistor ( the white looking thing next to the coil ) there is a wire that goes to your ballast resistor and then from this to your coil which side of your coil is this meant to goto? |

well the idea is the ballest resistor turns the volts down to 6V's after the engine has started and when the engine is cranking the ballest resistor is bypassed so the coil is getting 12V (bigger spark) so try and figure out where the wires go now. have a look in ya workshop manual if you have one? |

or someone with a gemi can just have a quick look and tell me what side + or - of the coil the wire from the ballast resistor goes to. |

Yer it goes to the positive side of the coil
