Before I start I will say this.. These figures a rough as I havent even included the head gasket in the equation, So dont tell me I am 0.2 out ... Ok if you have a 1600 head on a 1800 block it would be 9.8:1 a 2000 block will be about 10.8:1
I know the figures are a little high but as I previously said I havent included the head gasket, but then again I didnt compensate for a shaved head either, which will increase the compression hope this helps... Michael |

i had a 1800 block with a 1600 head and it went hard for
years without ever doing a head gasket or anything. |

The small valve heads are the same but the TX big valve head will increase the compression to 8.7:1. |
