hey guys I wanted to get other peoples opinion, since no one wants to buy my gemini I'm thinking of doing a rebuld to it now I'm not to sure if I should rebuild the 1600 engine thats in it or put a whole different engine like a rodeo or a rotory or something else thats crazy. What should I do??

Bung in a 3.8 litre V6 out of a VP or VR - not as good as a VS engine but heaps cheaper - avoid VN Series I engines - they are puckaroo.
Get one with a 5-speed manual for about $1500 and you're set - get it fitted for a couple of grand, new front brakes (most conversions will need these anyway) for about $750-$1000 depending on the conversion and you're away.
Keep the standard diff and rear axle set up until you're sorted an in the clear.
Then, when the turbo boys complain that you've got a shitty Holden engine, strap on a supercharger and show them what the weeds look like.
Of course, I'm dreamin.

| Stick a 510ci Keith Black alloy engine in, just a mild 2000hp engine, and then run 13's with hubcaps. It'd be a great sleeper until you started your engine. |
