Hey can anyone out there give me the run down on the differnce's between a G161 and a G180?

okay basic differences are these:
They have G180 instead of G161
the stroke is longer
high cc and comp ratio
bigge valves and ports
but they run the same head gasket as the 161 tillyou bore them out |

As far as I know, the head is identical to the 1600 head. They have factory dish top pistons aswell, so the have the same compression ratio as the 1600's.
The 1600 has an 82mm bore, and 75mm stroke.
The 1800 has an 85mm bore, and an 80mm stroke. (I think)
The benefit in factory trim is increased torque and power over the 1600. |
