any1 know if it would be possible to paint a car with those glossy spray cans from the hardware store, then put a few ayers of clear using a spray gun over the top. Would this work and would it look any good? |

Nah yous have got it all wrong, i helped a mate do it to his corolla, it looked HEAPS good!! not.
But seriously he spent $120 in paint cans, for that money you could buy like 4 litres of real paint! and if youve got the compressor anyway just go 4 it. |

hey pete u seen the bit that glenn did on the wagon it looks like it properly sprayed with spray gun its smic if u could do it like that then itd be perfect |

but still when you consider price its cheaper to just get proper paint. |

Reminds me of the moron who took to his XA coupe with an angle grinder and a light disc. Throught if he hit the panel with an orbital sander, then hit the metal with an angle grinder and small disc (less damage you see..) he would be right.
A few coats or red later and... urk
XA coupe beautiful no more, bodyshell rendered almost useless unless you lead wipe the whole friggin' thing! |

not when u consider micky primer etch primer sadning products and the rest of the stuff to prep it it costs quite abit |
