do u have to sand the body back to bare metal before painting it of can u paint over the existing paint? would it work? |

You can paint over existing paint as long as it is in good condition. I would spay primer over the existing paint, and make sure it has no reactions. Sometimes different paints will react with each other.
I would first preprae the body, put on the primer, if all is well, put on a guide coat, sand it off, and then put on colour & clear if applicable.

wet and dry rub it back, NOT to bare metal, prime/undercoat it, wet and dry rub it smooth, and paint away!! my mate it a spray painter and thats how he does all his cars, boats, helmets, moto's, ect...... everything including my car _________________
