Still a Gem newbie here
I was initially under the impression that the TD was the last model to be made available in a wagon and coupe body, yet I've seen mentions of TG wagons and panel vans in various places.
Are these custom conversions or did Holden indeed make the TG available in coupe and wagon form? |

Coupes were made from TX-TD in Australia, but overseas they continued to make coupes with the later model front eg. TE etc.
Wagons & Vans were first available in Australia with the TD model (best looking ;)and continued until the TG model.
Coupe = TX-TD
Wagon/Van = TD-TG |

That's what I was going to say.
Further to that, TF and TG panelvans both had the TF front, as all base-model TGs (base sedan and panelvan) had the TF front.
The TG wagon however, runs a TG front, in line with the Gemini SL and Gemini SL/X sedans.
This is the sort of stuff that people will not have to ask as soon as I have my Gemini History finished.
The good news is that it IS almost finished, and I'm not kidding this time.
Probably only got a couple more hours work to go, which is amazing considering that I've spent about 3 years doing this (on and off).
Keep watching the skies!!! |

You call cutting, welding, rewiring, bogging, sanding, painting, and a shitload of other fucking around as 'bolting straight on'???
Its a shitload more than just bolting it straight on. |
