i wanna prep my car b4 i take it for a full respray. should how should i go about doing that. also how much money does preparing the body yourself save you |

True. Most panel shops don't like semi-prepped cars. Too much hassle and the previous work may have been less satisfactory.

it makes their job not look so good.
for 2500-3000 itl get done 4 u, the right way, with the right materials.
AND
if you prep it yourself and the paint fuks up, they blame you, and... as they say... your up shit creek.
whereas if they do it all and fuk it you get a brand new job done, no questions asked. |

Mate, top prize for enthusiasm but if u have to ask what needs to be done then best leave it to the guys/gals in the profesh. (professionals) u will be glad u did.
