Well... I've made the first purchase on the way towards a faster Gertrude... new 1/2 inch piping for the lines, 1/2 inch EFI hose and a flaring tool... next on the list are;
a surge tank with 1/2 inch fittings
two fuel pumps (lift pump, EFI pump)
two filters (low pressure/high pressure)
some wiring
two relays
two switches
some hose clamps
a surge tank with 1/2 inch fittings
some rubber grommets...
The 1/2 inch fuel lines are MASSIVE overkill (like double with room to spare) for what I need... but the lines themselves are actually cheaper (although othershit in half inch will probably make it a smidgen more expensive, but not enough to complain about).
Estimated time of completion?? February at the earliest... what is this conversion I am planning? nothing wild, just a CA18DET. I suppose you guys are going to want some photos or maybe even a workshop article?
