so let me just get this all straight in order to put a 4ZE1 into a gem you need the engine, preferably with gearbox still attached, new radiator hoses, the rodeo fuel rail, rodeo regulator.
now what sort of pumps should be fitted would the rodeo pumps be advisable?, and with the fuel lines should they be increased to cope with the larger capacity? then screw type clamps on the fuel lines. is the new computer absolutly necesary and if so should it have ignition control etc?

and what is the problem with the distributer on the rodeo does it want to stick through the firewall, and you need to create a small dent for it to sit in?

well thats all i can think of at the moment

thanxs

Any reasonably large injection pump would be able to do the job, a bosch VL turbo pump would be my suggestion.

To stop the engine starving around every corner, you'll need a surge tank, and a pump to fill it... you #could# use the gemini 9 volt pump... but any excuse to f#ck it off and replace it with something better is good enough for me... Use a pickup from a TF/TG as they used the mech. pump.

You'll need low pressure and high pressure filters..

As for lines... the factory lines would probably do the job... but for the $50 it'll cost, why not upgrade them to at least whatever the rodeo runs (assuming they are larger).

The firewall clearance problem can be solved the easy way (hammer) or the hard way (welder, cut and reweld that area nice and neatly).

Just run the rodeo computer...

Let us know how you go, ok.

Oh, and which state are you in?
