there are little round things in the bottom of the boot pan... take to them with a screwdriver and hammer and bang em out leaving gaping holes... that should keep the water "drained" but then again, depends if you got a good body or not (like mine... don't look too bad now but, and the stereo is thumpin louder than ever)

The most common sources are your boot rubber and rear windscreen... the only other possible sources are water being splashed up through the drain plugs or water coming in through the seams.
Replace your boot rubber with some 'off-the-reel' from clark rubber of similar. As for your rear windscreen.... the 'easy' if somewhat nasty fix is to lift up the lip of the seal, jam a silicone gun in there and pump like mad... the proper fix is a new windscreen rubber. |

Water in the boot is definately the rear window seal, or the boot seal. As is said get a new boot seal from clark rubber.
With the rear screen. Get a mobile windscreen fellow to come to you, cause then you can see any rust damage around the area and fix if need be. The guy will clean out you old seal and re-use it. You just need the new goop to seal out the weather.
I had mine done 2 years ago, and it is all ok still. |
