Hello folks,
I have a Gemmy which l bought off a friend. He purchased a G180 from a Jap importer. l have noticed a couple of things that seem relitively unique with it in that it has a separte fuel pump mounted under the bonnet just near the coil. The other is that it runs electronic ignition that uses a small black box approximately the size of a match box and the dizzy takes an RB Gemini cap. Is this uncommon? Can anyone shed some light?
Also, l have had to mig weld some new pans in the van (surprise surprise!) and l have welded them from inside the cabin. Does the underside lip have to be welded up as well, or is it ok to leave it and just aplly primer/deadener from a road worthy piont of view. Any advise welcome.
