Hey all.
Im looking for a gemini for a friend....
Based in the northern suburbs of adelaide!
What we are looking at is a gemini thats in good (relatively rust free) condition with airconditioning that works......
willing to spend upto $2000
I would like to hear from anyone who has a gem that meets these simple criterias....

You don't want anything after TG. The RB is a front wheel drive piece of crap, nothing more than a rebadged Corolla.
Rear wheel drive is way to go |

I don't know how many times I have to say this.
The RB Gemini has NOTHING to do with a Corolla. Suffice to say, I don't like 'em either, but I DO like to correct misinformation when I see it.
The RB Gemini was developed indepentantly by Isuzu, and was built here in kit form from, imported from Japan. It sold very well in the USA under a variety of names - Geo Storm and Asuna Sunfire were two names, I think.
My point is that while they do look waaaay too much like a Corolla of the same vintage, they have no transferable parts and are not the same car.
Recently, I saw an RB and a Corolla parked by each other, and wished I had a camera to give me a visual record of the point I'm trying to make.
RBs are gay, yes, but they're not Corollas. |

Hey u guys are hell funny!
Just a little entry to say that i found a gem
1983 tg with air cond... $1000
needed tyres, a wheel alignment and some touchups in the paint dept. |
