errr... I seem to have a really cool engine.
after getting the head retentioned and 1st service done... the car's temp gauge stays on COLD!!! anyone know what might be wrong??? there's a loom in the engine bay where one wire goes to the block and another wire is hanging...
I don't know where the temp sensor is...
Thanks

On the bottom of the intake manifold, pretty much underneath the thermostat you should be able to feel the temp sender, just make sure there is a wire (I think its yellow and black) connected to it, if not it should just slide on. |

i had a shitload of problems fixin mine. i pulled apart the dash three times, and changed the actual temp guage, then my lights on the dash started 2 fuk up, and i fixed them using a mix'n'match system, and i noticed that the temp guage moves up 2 the first line, so far, the car has no rego, just got sprayed, so i just let it run at 700revs, for bout 10 mins, and it didn't get past the first line. i wack a brick or some shit on the gas, and let it run bout 3000 revs.
