i've got a torque tube if your interested. i haven't had to change it yet. but recently changed diffs and now it's spare. it's off a te 5spd. i think that the mounts are further spread apart in the te torque tube, compared to a td. don't quote me on that. but i ran into trouble with this problem.

Ahh, yes! I forgot about this as well. The bolts are further apart on the later models. I slotted the holes of the later mount and all was ok, but in hindsight I wouldn't do it again. The front torque tube mount is unfortunately not removable, and I would be questioning whether the later model torque tube would bolt up to an earlier model diff.

Of course the mount is removable... Holden sells new ones, and I have changed 4 of them in about 13 years.. they are just a little hard to get off if they have been there 20 years Smile.... Michael
