Does anybody know where Amy Hallett is?
I emailed her about a week ago and haven't got a response, and I noticed that she's not been on HotGemini for a while as well.
I emailed asking her about something, but now I'm a bit fearful of her wellbeing!
Hope she's OK. |

Whew, that's cool.
Driving Geminis and driving them fast can be a dangerous business, and while my engineer assurred me they have pretty good crumple zones for a 1975 vehicle, I pray that I'm never in a crash in one! Or in any car for that matter. |

Amy sent me a few emails recently, her system was virus/worm infected, and using M$ Outlook doesn't help matters either.
On the subject of crashing Geminis, I can attest to the strength and deformability, coming out of my crash in relatively good shape (smashed kneecap from steering column, chipped tooth from biting steering wheel).
If you want to see some pictures of how well a Gemini crumples (and maintains cabin integrity) I will be more than happy to supply you with them, maybe even post them on your site?? |

Yeah man, sounds good! I mean, not really THAT good, because I'm sure it hurt! But good for the site - it can go with the crashed Monaro picture - that page has had over 600 hits since it went up a couple of weeks ago!!!
Then again, I did email it to Geoff Seddon, Editor of Street Machine. Oh, and to Steve Westmacott, President of SMASA, so I assume they probably both did a bit of forwarding!
If you can email the pics to:
dave_carey64@hotmail.com that would be good - it's got a lot less crap in it than my regular email address. Of course, if the pictures are much bigger than a meg in total, Hotmail will spaz at me.
Cheers,
Dave |
