what can i say i was very dissapointed in the quality of cars that showed up at the coast carpark last nite ... my car isnt that great , custom turquiose green with chrome fitting with 17's lowered. with custom interior , big stero with custom install , and a worked 2l ??? , i would have thought that the isuzu car club would have had nicer and neater cars than mine but the only other gemi that would have surpassed mine was that kermit fella from brissi ... very dissapointed

The quality of the club is more than the quality of cars... at least the Isuzu car club get off their arse and do things. Wish I could have made it. Why don't you join, then you'll have the 'best' car in the club Wink

maybe some of the members are still working on "show condition cars" and they drive around in fairly standard gems untill they are out of the workshop,
just a thought

You can't judge our club as you have only been to one of our events! I couldn't bring my Gemini as it has an electrical problem at the moment, but for you to say that you were "disappointed with the quality of cars" and that you thought we would have "nicer and neater cars" than yours is insulting, considering I have spend $17 000 on my car. Another case, our Vice-Presidents coupe is in the process of being repainted and is up to the same standard as mine. Another case, one of our members had work commitments overseas. He owns the cleanest Gemmy wagon I have ever seen in my life. And there are more cases like I have just mentioned that unconveniently happened on that particular night. So please get your facts correct before you throw accusations like that around again!

P.S. Our club is not all about "Show Pony's". Anyone, with any 2-wheel drive Isuzu vehicle, in any condition, can join our club as we DO NOT discriminate.

I couldnt take my car due to other plans as well. Mine is a tg coupe with 17s and runs 11s on nos. To say yours is better than anyones there and the club must be shit is just a little conceded dont you think? How do you know that some of those stocko looking gems didnt have a firebreather turbo or something? Dont start big noting yourself or you may just end up looking like an idiot.

I find it amusing that you can judge our club by simply looking at the cars that showed up on sat nite. I registered a TG sedan just so i could cruise down in a gemmy with other gemmy drivers, and enjoy the cars. I guess unlike u we don't spend our time and effort judging others cars, but rather actually driving them like all gemmy's should be driven. Maybe you should come to one of our events: skid pan day, maybe a show and shine or even just a barbie and talk cars. I,m sure after seeing Micheal Dooley's TD wagon you may change your mind about our "disappointing club". Did I mention the cars in progress? The vice pres's tx coupe with a efi g200 and show quality detailing should impress surely! Or maybe my tx coupe with piazza lsd/ disc brake rear end and a yet to be fitted bridge 13b maybe your standard. Not all of us concentrate on cars entirely as we have other commitments, but it is a hobby that everyone in the club enjoys equally. We hold no grudges against anyone and help each other out when things go wrong. What did u expect? A line of trailer sailors? Maybe even Drago Ostrics' Td gem? This is the real world where money talks and bullshit stops! I have worked very hard to help out the club and expand it's member base. I am very "dissapointed" and insulted with you Mr Linty, also glad to say you are in a minority with your petty shallow views.

/me jumps on bandwagon

Gimme a stocker gemini with rust in the doors, no boot floor, faded cruddy paint and I'll happily drive it to any cruise... Preferably gimme a day or two to fix up the suspension first though.

Hey linty, this is the vice pres of the club here, i dont know where u were when i was around, i was in a stock looking(other than the $2000 simmons om`s) gold tx sedan that i would really like to put up against ur "worked 2lt".I know, u probably call a g200 with a 25/65 cam and a downdraft weber a "worked 2lt".Then we`ll see who has the best car.. Let alone my green tx coupe which i have already spent over $15000 on, which u may have seen at the last 3 ff&r jamborees. said vehicle is coming back out with a piazza turbo, gtir quad throttles and big front mount, garret turbo etc... by the way with an attitude like yours, i dont think our members would let u in..
