Plz help..im soo confused!!!

Hey all..im new here..and im sure this question has been asked thousands of times..but plz any help would be great...im looking at putting either a g200 or g180 in my Te..i know it is a straight swap..but what did these engines come out of..and roughly what power do they both produce in standard trim...thanks for any help at all..Simon

With my limited knowledge, I think that the G1800 was availiable as a deisel with approx 40KW (powerful beast wasn't she? *L*) and i think in the ZZ/Z had a petrol version (Dont quote me on that 1). Not sure about the power output though. The G200 on the other hand was availiable in the rodeo, power - i wouldn't have a clue.
I have a G200 in my TX, and have driven an 1800 as well. The torque difference is noticeable in the G200.
Not much info sorry - but it's better than a poke in the eye with a bent pushrod.
