I have a te, sports exhaus,ect, gas, blah.....i am getting rid of the gas unit, -anyone want it?
-whats the best way to get a balance of power/economy outta a stock 1600 petrol engine?
prefer cheap alternative,but any ideas ok.....except engine changes, doing them shits me.
thanx for the previous help too....it was a cracked head and
2 blown pistons....it started to blow heavy smoke after i wrote the first question... |

Just do the typicals - rebuild with slight rebore, upped compression, slight cam upgrade, match-port, light head port (more of a clean up than anything), decide whether you want to keep the Niki or upgrade to a webber - the former being more economical & reasonably sufficiant for your application, 4-2-1 extractors, you already have the exhaust, after-market filter or cold air induction, and for economy's sake - only ever use W.O.T on days that begin with S. : o )
